Day 10 of the Journal and all I can say is...Damn. Since yesterday's entry, I logged nearly 3000 words in my novel alone. I told you I'd blow past the 1000 word daily benchmark.

I was considering taking the night off, and I may yet, but I have the itch and burn to continue. Even though I finished the major scene I was talking about yesterday, which was the introduction of the Impact Character, the next scene still involves her (oops- spoiler) and I have the scene worked out, along with a half a pot of hot coffee.

We'll see what happens after my Twitter break.

With all this energy about the novel is bouncing around my brain like a super ball on crack, I still am finding nooks and crannies where my next sonnet is boiling to fruition. Throw in the thousands of words a day I write elsewhere and I should be spent about this time of the night. But I feel spiked, ready to go.
